Cardboard box filled with cardboard sewing spools printed with the Normandie
The sewing spools printed with the ‘Normandie’, the most luxury cruise liner of the 1930s. All kind of souvenirs were made about this ship. In 1935 was the maiden trip, its first transatlantic crossing from Le Havre to New York. See also item no. 1207, a clutch in shape of the Normandie which, all the first-class passengers received as a special memento.
